DuckDuckGo is an internet search engine founded by Gabriel Weinberg that emphasizes protecting searchers' privacy and avoiding the filter bubble of personalized search results.

Why It's Fresh

  1. Unlike Google, It cares about your privacy and has no filter bubble.
  2. Like Google, You can search for images, videos, and even look at maps and settings.
  3. It does not store IP addresses, nor log user information, and only uses cookies when required.
  4. You can anonymously search, including an exit enclave which means you can use Tor access.
  5. It's well designed, and it can be pleasing to certain eyes.

The Only Bad Quality

  1. It still can be worse at finding search results than Google, sometimes.

I prefer this over Google.

There's another search engine pretty similar to DuckDuckGo (It doesn't spy on users too), called Qwant, and it's headquartered in my country (France). It also became the default search engine for the Brave browser.

Yes. Qwant and Brave should get pages too.
